I am an International Chess Grandmaster, based in Bend, Oregon.
I enjoy coaching, giving exhibitions, and playing blitz games online.
I teach online, as well as in-person in Bend, Oregon. I enjoy working with players of all levels, from beginners to competitive tournament players.

I won the U.S. Open in 2012, played in three Chess Olympiads, qualified for the World Cup in 2011, and reached a peak FIDE rating of 2603.
From 2007 to 2012, I had the great privilege of working with Vassily Ivanchuk, former World No. 2, World Blitz Champion (2007) and World Rapid Champion (2016), assisting him as a second in various tournaments.
Between 2012 and 2017, I received a full scholarship to attend Webster University, where I played for the top-ranked collegiate chess team in the U.S. coached by Grandmaster Susan Polgar, contributing to 5 consecutive national championships.
